Mahmoud Mansouri

Mahmoud Mansouri is a Scientist in the Department of Genetics and Pathology at Uppsala University. His research is focused on molecular characterisation of chronic lymphocytic leukaemia (CLL). In particular, he aims to detect molecular differences in clinical subsets of CLL at both the genome and transcriptome level using high-resolution array-based technology. These differences will not only help to explain the varying clinical course among CLL patients, but will also provide clues as to the pathological events that take place in disease development. Dr Mansouri received his PhD in human molecular genetics from Uppsala University in 2006.
