Mareli Kelderman

Mareli Kelderman is a Medical Technologist (specialising in haematology) in the Department of Haematology and Cell Biology at the University of the Free State in Bloemfontein in South Africa, and is a member of the Society of Medical Laboratory Technologists of South Africa (SMLTSA). She developed, streamlined and implemented several tests for diagnosing von Willebrand disease (VWD), especially the von Willebrand factor (VWF) multimer test and the factor VIII-binding assay.
