Dr Andrea Bullock explains the role of hyaluronic acid in the peritumoral stroma of pancreatic cancer. She also explains how hyaluronidase works against hyaluronan to normalize blood flow to the tumor. Finally she discusses the longer half-life of the pegylated version (PEGPH20; pegvorhyaluronidase alfa), and the combination of PEGPH20 with chemotherapy.
