GUIDELINE OBJECTIVE(S)

To evaluate in adult patients with inoperable locally advanced or metastatic renal cell cancer (RCC) whether:
  • Treatment with inhibitors of angiogenesis improves overall (OS) and/or progression-free survival (PFS) and additional outcomes such as quality of life (QOL), objective tumour response rate, clinical response rate, and adverse effects
  • A combination of inhibitors of angiogenesis are better than any single-agent angiogenesis inhibitor
  • Sequential administration of a second inhibitor of angiogenesis offers additional benefit to patients
